Ruth McDowell Kinnard, University of Alabama, speaks to L. Virginia Nicholas Provost, College of William & Mary, about her experiences as a collegian in Delta Mu Chapter at the University of Alabama, serving as traveling secretary from 1940-1942, fraternity associate director from 1946-1948, fraternity collegiate secretary from 1948-1952, and fraternity president from 1952-1956. Ruth recounts the major initiatives undertaken during her presidency, including the improvement of alumnae relations and programming, the establishment of the Golden Circle program, and the revision of the Tri Delta Constitution.
