She describes the impact of World War II on Tri Delta, attending the 1940 and 1950 Conventions on Mackinac Island, Michigan, her experiences attending chapter installations, and the creation of the Crescent Fund. Mary praises the efforts of Tri Deltas who served with her on the Executive Board and discusses changes made to alumnae and collegian dues, ritual, and the district chairmen system during her tenure; she closes by sharing recollections of other past presidents, a visit to Alpha Chapter at Boston University, and the Tri Delta Executive Office.

Mary Kay Baker Past President Interview, February 24, 1982

Mary Kay Paup Baker, University of California, Los Angeles, discusses her service to Tri Deltas as district president, fraternity associate director of collegiate programs from 1966-1968, fraternity collegiate vice president from 1968-1972 and president from 1972-1976, her recollections of student protest and campus upheaval during her time in leadership, and initiatives she oversaw to improve training for new members, chapter officers, and chapter advisers. Mary Kay goes on to recall how much she enjoyed visiting collegiate chapters while she served in leadership, consider improvements made to Tri Delta's financial policies under her leadership, and describe her involvement in moving the Executive Office to Texas. She finishes by sharing memories of other past presidents and discussing her experiences in the Side Board, an organization for former Executive Board members.
