Emily Allen, a charter member of Alpha Chapter at Boston University, writes about the founding of Tri Delta by Sarah Ida Shaw and Eleanor Dorcas Pond on Thanksgiving Eve in 1888. She then describes the first initiation of the chapter and the petitions for chapters they received. Allen closes by quoting the Purpose of Tri Delta.

while attending the 1984 Alpha Chapter Reinstallation, Katherine Bacon, Boston University, recounts her time as president of Alpha Chapter at Boston University in the 1910s. She describes meeting Founder Sarah Ida Shaw Martin, Boston University, serving as a scholarship and social adviser to the chapter as an alumnae member, and her long career as a teacher. Kay closes by reflecting on the importance of Tri Delta to her life and sharing her best wishes for members of the newly reinstalled Alpha Chapter.
